Rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce are the heroes of a new campaign for jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. Photos, taken against the backdrop of a previously unknown work by Jean-Michel Basquiat, hang on billboards for a year, Blueprint notes, citing WWD.
For the campaign, Beyonce recorded a cover of Moon River (due on September 15th).
According to the head of Tiffany & Co. Alexandre Arnault, daughter Beyoncé and Jay-Z were also present on the set - footage with her participation was included in the final version of the campaign. The video was directed by Emmanuel Ajay, who co-authored Beyoncé's 85-minute film Black Is King. The campaign was filmed at The Orum House in Los Angeles. This is the first advertising project in which Beyoncé and Jay Z starred together. Another curious detail - in the photographs, Beyoncé poses in the famous Tiffany necklace with a 128.54-carat diamond.
In partnership with Beyoncé and Jay Z, Tiffany & Co. will provide $ 2 million for scholarship and internship programs for students of historically black higher education institutions.
