Shakira's representatives reacted to the information about the artist's offshore companies shared by La Sexta and the País newspaper, citing Pandora's Dossier.
The "dossier" indicated that the pop star, who has lived in Barcelona since 2011, allegedly continued to open businesses in offshore zones, even when the case of Shakira's tax evasion in Spain was being conducted.
In an interview to RIA Novosti, the group of legal and tax consultants of Shakira categorically denies that the mentioned companies were registered in 2019. Her companies were established in the period from 2001 to at the latest in 2009, according to the law, and much earlier than Shakira became a resident of Spain.
