Parents of cinematographer accidentally killed by Alec Baldwin at movie set demand punishing those guilty

12:13, October 23

The parents of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who died during the filming of a Western entitled "Rust," demand to punish those accountable for the death of their daughter, The Sun reported.

As family friends told the daily, Halyna's father and mother learned about her death from her husband, Matthew.

They mourn, but at the same time, they want answers to their questions. And if it's someone's fault, they have to answer for it, said one of Hutchins' close circles.

This person added that Halyna’s parents are currently working on documents to be able to travel to the US due to this incident.

According to the media, the film studio is afraid of a major lawsuit by the victim's family if it turns out that her death could have been avoided.

The aforesaid incident took place Thursday, in New Mexico, at the movie set of “Rust.’ According to the petition filed with the police, actor Alec Baldwin fired shots with a prop gun at the film crew, and cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, died, while director Joel Souza, 48, was wounded and is in hospital.
