1. During the preparation for the role of Chase, Robert Hoffman actually participated in street breakdancing competitions held in the subway.
2. The film was shot by Touchstone Pictures and Offspring Entertainment.
3. The name of the dance crew is "410." This is the Baltimore phone code.
4. The finalists of the show Kings of the Dance Floor MTV channel, Jabbawockeez, appear in the film.
5. "Step Forward 2: The Streets" surpassed its predecessor by only $36 million.
6. Channing Tatum, who played the main role in the movie "Step Forward," again played his role in a short cameo.
7. The producers really wanted to continue the line of Tatum's character, but the actor did not want to play the main role in the sequel.
8. Director Ann Fletcher was replaced by John M. Chu.
9. Actor Adam Sevani made his debut in this part of the franchise, after which he became a symbol of the dance series of films "Step Forward," appearing in all other sequels.
