Graham Edge, co-founder and drummer of the British rock band Moody Blues, has died at the age of 81, The Sun reported.
The cause of the musician's death was not specified. The news of the death of the founder of the group has not yet been commented on by other members of the group.
Edge was the only Moody Blues member to remain with the group since its inception.
In 1964, Edge founded the R&B Preachers, which later became the Moody Blues, one of the oldest active rock bands in the world.
One of the band's most famous hits, Your Wildest Dreams, came out in 1986 and peaked at # 9 on the US charts. In total, the group has sold 70 million albums worldwide, including 18 platinum and gold records.
The band released their last album in 2003. Edge stopped touring with the band in 2018.
