NEWS.am STYLE continues to share interesting facts about popular films. Today we’ll talk about John Singleton's 2003 movie “2 Fast 2 Furious”

 So...

1)The main star of the first "Fast and Furious," Vin Diesel, dropped out of the project after requesting a very large fee—over $20 million.

2)Due to Diesel’s absence, director Rob Cohen refused to direct the sequel, and John Singleton sat in the director's chair.

3)After the shooting began, it turned out that Devon Aoki has neither a license nor driving experience.

4)The scene where Brian moves from Los Angeles to Miami was cut from the film. This scene shows how O'Conner buys himself a Nissan Skyline GT-R, in which he participates in the first race of the film.

5)After filming the movie, Paul Walker received a Nissan Skyline GT-R as a gift, which was shown at the beginning of the film.

6)To make the film interesting, director Singleton often encouraged the actors to improvise during filming, and therefore many of the humorous moments in the film are pure improvisation.

7)The house used as the Verona mansion was previously owned by Sylvester Stallone.

8)American rapper Redman was considered for the role of Teja. But due to conflicts in the schedule, the role was given to Ludacris.

9)Ja Rule negotiated to participate in the film, but then refused because he wanted to play the character of Roman Pierce and not a minor role.

10)Film producer Neil H. Moritz played the role of a policemen.

11)With a budget of $76 million, the film grossed $236 million.
