Writer J.K. Rowling will be in the Harry Potter special on HBO Max, the Independent reported.

In a new teaser for the project, Rowling appears in a scene in which the Potter actors talk about how she influenced their lives.

And the actors have nice words for her: “One of the reasons I admire her so much is that millions of people who have never held a book have now turned into readers. Then you realize the power of writing.”

Last summer, Rowling was accused of being hostile to transgender and transgender people. The author joked about trying to replace the word woman with menstruating.

Harry Potter fans have been talking about Rowling not being in the movie after her repeated transphobic comments online.
