Kanye West and Balenciaga's creative director Demna Gvasalia have started working on a joint collection for Gap. The rapper announced about it on his Instagram page. The project is called "Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga". The first collection will be presented in June 2022.
“It is a vision come true to work with Gap and Demna, the creative director of Balenciaga, to make incredible product available to everyone at all times,” Ye told the publication.

Kanye West announced his partnership with the American Gap brand in June 2020. The first item was presented in the summer of 2021. It was a bright blue jacket made of recycled nylon.
