Rapper Travis Scott is still trying to whitewash his reputation after last year's incident.
During his performance at the Astroworld music festival ten people were killed in a crush, and several hundred more were injured.
It became known that the rapper recently donated $1 million to low-income black students who study at Historically Black Colleges and Universities and HBCUs. Thanks to this amount, they will be able to continue their education at institutions of higher learning.
The scholarship fund is named after Waymon Webster, Scott's grandfather, who himself graduated from one of these universities, People reported.
