Rock singer Marilyn Manson has been acquitted following allegations of abuse by his former assistant Ashley Walters, Billboard reported.
In May last year, the artist's ex-assistant filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of sexual harassment and violence. In addition, Walters said that Manson forced her to work for 48 hours, and also suggested that his friends rape her.
The claims of the alleged victim concerned not only the rock musician, but his entire team.
Ashley named co-defendants, saying that she had to work in a toxic environment, being humiliated and threatened by the team.
All the events described by the ex-assistant of the artist in the lawsuit took place in 2010 and 2011, which was the main reason for the termination of the case.
