The father of rapper JayDaYoungan who was shot dead in the US told TMZ the circumstances under which his 24-year-old son died.

He noted that the son did not enter into conflicts with colleagues, did not belong to gangs, and, most likely, did not even know the attackers. The musician's father suggested that JayDaYoungan could have been shot because of envy of his success in the music industry.

The parent of the perpetrator also described the details of what happened: he and his son were sitting in the courtyard of their house in Louisiana, when a black truck drove up to the site, from which three unknown persons ran out and opened fire.

The father and son tried to hide in the house, but two more people with weapons blocked their way inside. The rapper's father had a gun with which he tried to protect himself and the musician.

As a result of the attack, the artist's parent was shot twice in the arm, and JayDaYoungan himself was hit at least eight times. On the way to the hospital, he lost a lot of blood, upon arrival at the medical facility, the performer died.
