A central court in Southern California will hear a lawsuit brought by Russians against Hollywood director Steven Spielberg.
The American theater in Moscow opened only recently, in the fall of 2021. And already in August of this year, its founder and general producer Alexander N (Shiryaev) complained that the theater was experiencing difficulties without the support of Steven Spielberg, Mash reported.
The theater opened in Moscow in 2021 as part of the project "Theaters of the world - in Moscow", there were staged performances of famous musicals.The claim was filed by the producer of the theater Alexander N (Shiryaev), the document was sent to the Central Court in Southern California. According to the producer, Spielberg violated the terms of the contract and must reimburse the investment costs.
Alexander N told Gazeta.ru that he and Spielberg had an agreement that the director would support the theater "producerially and financially"
