On the YouTube channel of the streaming service Netflix appeared an excerpt from Guillermo del Toro' s upcoming animated film "Pinocchio." It is a musical number performed by the main character, voiced by Gregory Mann. He sang the song "Ciao Papa". The animated film will appear on the platform in December of this year.

The action of the cartoon is set during the fascist rule of Benito Mussolini in Italy in the 1930s. The film follows the adventures of Pinocchio, who tries to find his place in the world: he leaves home, realizing that Geppetto does not love him as his own son.

The original version will feature the voices of Ewan McGregor, David Bradley, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Christoph Waltz and other actors.
