The account of rapper Kanye West on Twitter appeared the first entry after the owner of the social network, entrepreneur Elon Musk restored the page of the rapper.

"Testing Testing Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked," West wrote on his account.

Kanye West has 31.5 million followers on the social network. He was blocked in October 2022 after a series of anti-Semitic tweets. The musician's account was unblocked following Musk's purchase of Twitter.

Elon Musk also restored the Twitter account of former U.S. President Donald Trump after such a decision was made by participants in a poll conducted by the owner of the social network.

The former American leader's Twitter followers grew to 25 million just seven hours after his account was unblocked.

The verified account @realDonaldTrump was frozen on January 8, 2021 - two days after Donald Trump supporters stormed the Capitol in an attempt to disrupt the United States Congress' approval of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. At the time, he had about 90 million subscribers.
