American actress Amber Heard said on Instagram (the owner of Meta is recognized in Russia as extremist and banned) that she is in the process of settling a defamation case, according to the lawsuits brought against her by her ex-husband, actor Johnny Depp.

According to the actress, the decision to settle was "very difficult" for her and followed "a lot of thought."

Previously, it was reported that Heard appealed the ruling in the lawsuit filed against her by Johnny Depp. As the 36-year-old movie star claimed, no evidence was presented to the jury during the hearing that she recounted incidents of domestic violence in her marriage to Johnny Depp in therapy sessions, which led to the case being ruled against her.
