Adidas may reconsider its decision to cooperate with Balenciaga amid the scandal over allegations of pedophile propaganda of the brand, Sneaker Freaker reported citing an excerpt from letters to Adidas customers who pre-ordered items from the joint collection.

In a series of screenshots shared by Sneaker Freaker, Adidas said in a number of customer service emails that it is in the process of "re-evaluat[ing] our partnership with Balenciaga" and that it has "pause[d] all product launches until further notice." Meanwhile, Balenciaga's website shows a different response when customers try to purchase an item from the collaboration -- that they are "delayed in shipment" and that the "previous tracking number" should be ignored.

According to the newspaper, the items from the joint collection can not be received even when ordering on the Balenciaga website, customers receive messages about the delay in delivery.

Earlier Balenciaga was in the center of scandal because of controversial ads with children posing with BDSM-inspired accessories. One of the pictures was a court document, which justified child pornography. The brand was accused of promoting pedophilia.
