The "The Witcher" prequel received a record low rating from viewers. According to Rotten Tomatoes, it received a rating of only 8%. Critics gave the "Blood Origin" series a 38% rating. That's one of the worst scores of any Netflix series. Just 24 hours after its premiere, the show was rated by more than 2,000 viewers and 24 film critics.

Most of all, users were unhappy with the poorly written dialogue and low quality special effects. Fans also noted the boring plot and accused the creators of the project of incompetence. "Blood Origin" is a mini-series starring Michelle Yeoh, Nathaniel Curtis ("It's a Sin"), Lenny Henry ("Penelope"). The show recounts events that took place 1,200 years before the events described in the original series.
