Fans of the Canadian singer Celine Dion held a rally outside the office of the magazine Rolling Stone, the editorial board of which did not include the artist in the list of the best singers of all time, NME reported.
About one and a half dozen people took part in the protest, holding placards that read "How could you forget Celine?" and "Save Celine". Fans also demanded a meeting with Rolling Stone journalists, launched a petition in support of Dion and criticized the publication on social media.
The Rolling Stone list was headed by soul singer Aretha Franklin, second and third place went to Whitney Houston and soul pioneer Sam Cooke. Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and others joined the ranks. The writers of the rating noted that this is a list of the best performers, not the best voices.
