DreamWorks Animation's “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” has grossed $300 million worldwide, Box Office Mojo reported.
The animated movie was released at the end of December.
The first part of this film, "Puss in Boots," had grossed $555 million in 2011.
“Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” has become the third-highest-grossing animated film during the pandemic.
The animated sequel chronicled the journey of Cat—voiced over by Antonio Banderas—to the Wishing Star. Cat lives his last—ninth—life and is able to rethink many things during the search.
“Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” has already been nominated for Oscar, Golden Globe, and BAFTA.
Critics on Rotten Tomatoes have given this animated movie a high score of 95%.
