American Armenian actor Roman Mitichyan: All the women of the world speak the same language

14:05, March 10

American Armenian actor Roman Mitichyan, who works in the Hollywood movies, has been living in the United States for over 25 years. The actor, who was born in Vanadzor, Armenia, says he is proud of his roots, but adds that the US has given him lots of opportunities.

"I love USA. This country gave me so many opportunities in life. I lived in Glendale, California, which is pretty much a small Armenia, so we've always been around Armenians. I love it. USA is a big country, there is a lot of great things, but also a very hard place to be. Just like every country it has its own good and bad sides, and it’s up to you what you like to welcome in your life," says the actor.

As the Women's Month began in Armenia, NEWS.am STYLE has had a different talk with Roman. This time the topic of our conversation was not his acting in Hollywood or the new projects, but women. We've tried to find out what, according to the actor, is the main difference between Armenian and foreign women.

Roman himself has chosen an Armenian woman as his life “partner.” He says Armenian women are caring and devoted, which makes them unique.

"First of all, I would like to say congratulations to all the women in the world with this beautiful month. Women are incredible ‘machines’ man love and hate at the same time, but we can’t live without them (he laughs). I love Armenian women with their unique qualities, their love and care for their families. Armenian moms call their children 100 times a day to just ask if they ate today. There is a fine line between Armenian women and others. There is also a cultural difference, but I've met very beautiful families, great women from other races with family values as well. The difference is there is no difference because all the women of the world speak the same language."

The actor, however, confesses, as most men, that he also is not that fluent in that "language" which women speak.

"If any man can say they found out what women want, they will be my heroes (he laughs) because most women themselves don’t know what they want. But as humans, we all want to be loved, cared for, most importantly, love. Women, especially, need that extra attention and love".

Roman wishes peace, especially to all the Armenian women and moms.  "I like to say peace to our country Armenia because those mothers, every day as we speak, are waiting for their sons to come back, and some are worried when their sons are going to the line of fire for our country. I pray for every single Armenian warrior to come back healthy to their loved ones. Happy March 8 to my beautiful women. Give them love as they deserve, hope, help, lift them up, every day make them smile and love them."
