Gagosian gallery owner and noted art dealer Larry Gagosian joined the stars at the Museum of Modern Art's (MoMA) annual Party in the Garden in New York.  He was accompanied by painter Anna Weyant,  27, whom the world-famous 77-year-old American Armenian art dealer has been dating for more than two years.

Long-term bachelor Gagosian's wealth is estimated at $600 million.

About four years ago, Weyant was selling her paintings on the street for about $400 each. She has since become a star in the art world, with several of her works selling for over $1 million at auctions. The artist, who first gained attention for her Instagram paintings, signed a global representation deal with galleries of her boyfriend Larry Gagosian in May 2022 after Blum & Poe dealer Tim Blum reneged on the deal.

Gagosian had spoken about Weyant’s rise in a The Wall Street Journal article in June of last year. "I'm just trying to protect her from the big bad wolves," Gagosian had said, noting that when it comes to discussing Weyant's career, he treats her like any other artist in his gallery.
