What Donald Trump, Elvis Presley have in common?

Former US President Donald Trump considers himself similar to the "King of Rock and Roll," Elvis Presley. Trump conducted a survey among users of the Truth Social social media network about his resemblance to the legendary artist.

The former US president shared an image of half of Elvis's face combined with half of his own. “For years people have said that Elvis and I look alike,” Trump wrote. “Now this photo has spread everywhere. What do you think?"

A user shared a photo of Elvis singing with Trump's face photoshopped on top and the caption "Trump is the King of MAGA." Another user posted an image of both men's side profiles, claiming they were "cut from the same cloth."

Truth Social is filled with photos comparing the former US president to cultural, historical, and religious figures. Trump has posted images of himself as George Washington, videos claiming he is godlike, and statements comparing him to Jesus Christ.

In 2018, Trump said at a rally that when he was growing up, people told him he looked like a rock and roll legend. "I shouldn't say this, you'll say I'm very vain, because I'm not, but other than the blonde hair, when I was growing up, I was told I looked like Elvis," Trump said. “I always took that as a great compliment.”
