An Italian model claims he was fired from his job at the 2024 Met Gala after outshining Kylie Jenner at last year's ceremony.

Eugenio Casnighi announced on TikTok that he would no longer work as a greeter at an event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art after going viral for his good looks a year earlier.

“I just got fired from the Met Gala,” the 26-year-old said, showing several photos of Kylie.

Casnighi, who has worked the Met Gala for the past two years, claimed he couldn't talk about the attention he received at the event because he signed a non-disclosure agreement.

“It’s funny, they fired me so now I can say whatever I want. I got fired because I went viral last year.”

Explaining his former role as a greeter, Casnighi continued: "Last year I was told that I would be with Jenner all night and I helped her with everything she needed."
