James Bond fans can now add a unique 007 Aston Martin DB5 to their collection.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic James Bond film Goldfinger, renowned British scale model makers Agora Models have released a limited edition model of the legendary Aston Martin DB5, covered in 24-karat gold. Limited to just seven units, the gold-plated 1:8 scale model will go on sale on October 5 to celebrate James Bond Day. It was on October 5, 1962, that the first 007 film, Dr. No, was released.

The gold scale model perfectly captures even the smallest details of James Bond's DB5. It features miniature versions of most of the gadgets that made the original Bond car super cool, including a working ejector seat, a rotating number plate, and even a bulletproof shield.

The model features also machine guns that pop out from behind the headlights and make gunshot sound effects, as well as oil jets that protrude from behind the taillights.

Everything from the body to the bonnet, fuel filler cap, ejector seat roof panel, and the edge of the bulletproof shield is plated in 24-karat gold. The gold plating was done by hand at the St. Paul’s Mint in the UK.

All seven units will be individually numbered—from 001 to 007.

As for pricing, the gold-plated scale model will cost £24,999 (around $33,000).

While orders can be placed from October 5, Agora says deliveries will begin by Summer 2025.
