Over 3 million views in 2 weeks, over 1,000 comments and a catchy chorus that's stuck in everyone's head. of course, we're talking about Lilit Hovhannisyan's viral song and video, in which the heroine "urges" her ex-lover to tell his new girlfriend that she has achieved what she wanted by appearing in his arms.
And who is the young man who is being accused of cheating? He is portrayed by Edward Moquette, an American-Dominican actor, who has already felt the interest by Armenians towards him. In an interview with NEWS.am STYLE, Edward talks about becoming the "main guy of Lilit's music video" and the reaction he has received since the release of the music video.
The actor says that he appeared in the video after participating in the casting. "I actually had no idea who the music video was for before we shot it, so it was a pleasant surprise to find out it was Lilit!" he says.
Edward was familiar with some of the songs by the Armenian singer. He once heard the song "Ush a" in one of the bars, and as he says, he liked it very much. "But at the time, I didn’t know it was Lilit’s song! It’s funny how things came full circle, and now I’ve had the chance to work with her directly."

According to the actor, Lilit has explained the meaning of the song to him, after which he got into the role and thinks that it worked well. Edward mentions that he has even managed to learn some Armenian words.
"I’ve picked up a few words like "barev" and "lav." I also learned "sirun," which means "beautiful," because I wanted to compliment Lilit properly! At first, I just told her she was stunning, in English, but now I can say it in Armenian," he jokes.
The actor living in Los Angeles adds that he knew about Armenia before, he has some Armenian friends.

"There is a community in LA called 'Little Armenia' and so you run into people from Armenia quite often. And I've managed to make some Armenian friends during the time I’ve been here."
Returning to filming, the actor notes that working with the Armenian team was "a wonderful experience". "Everyone on set was incredibly talented, and Lilit was fantastic. She can dance, sing, and act, and it was inspiring to work alongside someone so multitalented. I was definitely impressed by her."
The actor is also encouraged by letters from Armenians, in which he receives kind words addressed to him. "I do get a lot of messages from people in Armenia. Everyone has been very kind and supportive. I do my best to answer to all of them!"

As for Edward's acting, he was involved in HBO's show, called "Barry", but he says that Lilit Hovhannisyan's video clip has become one of his favorite projects. "I can't believe it's been watched by more than 3 million people on YouTube as of today. It's crazy!"
According to the actor, in his free time he likes to listen to music, gather new information on topics that interest him, and also watch stand-up shows.
In May, Edward will appear in a film called "Shadow Unit", and recently he has finished filming in "Yellow Broken Road", which he says will be released next year. "I can’t wait for people to see both projects!" he adds.
