16:24 11 October, 2024Al Pacino is enjoying late fatherhood. In a new interview with People magazine, the legendary actor opened up about becoming a father to 16-month-old Roman, with Noor Alfallah, at age 84.
“It’s just wonderful to have kids,” said Pacino, who has four children.
“It’s been so wonderful for me,” he said. “It’s changed me, if you want to say, for the better. It’s changed me for life. And the idea that you’re directing your attention to other people who happen to be your children… that’s love.”
The Godfather star reflected also on becoming a father in his eighties.
“Well, it’s always the same,” he said. “It’s a small miracle. That’s all I can say.”
Pacino has penned a new memoir, Sonny Boy. In a recent interview with The New York Times, he said his youngest son was part of his inspiration for the book.
Sonny Boy will be published on October 15.
