19:19 10 March, 2025Apple Music's new DJ is none other than His Majesty King Charles III.
The King's Music Room, a radio show recorded at Buckingham Palace "in His Majesty's study," will debut on March 10, Hypebeast reports.
The King's Music Room will feature the 76-year-old monarch performing a hand-picked selection of music that will offer "an exclusive look into His Majesty King Charles III's relationship with music."
The king is apparently set to perform hits from the 1930s, as well as songs from "disco divas and reggae icons," to take us on a "musical journey that reflects His Majesty's personal taste."
In addition to being the King of the United Kingdom, Charles III is also the monarch and head of state of 14 other countries that make up the Commonwealth, making him the king of Canada, Australia, and Jamaica.
The collaboration is timed to coincide with the upcoming Commonwealth Day on March 10, with Apple Music saying The King's Music Room will feature music from "across the Commonwealth."
