Louis Vuitton unveils its Sneakerina

Louis Vuitton unveils its own ballet flat-turned-sneakers, WWD reports.

The company has unveiled its LV Sneakerina, a performance shoe that combines the sleek design of a ballet flat with the stability of a sneaker.

The shoe is designed for everyday wear. It sits on a flexible Sacchetto sole (borrowed from a ballet flat) but includes a lace-up upper with the LV logo on the side.

The color palette ranges from forest green and fuchsia to beige, black, and white. Materials include mesh, technical satin, leather, and more. There will be eight combinations at launch.

After an online pre-launch, the styles will hit stores worldwide on April 11. Pricing has yet to be announced.
