The Golden Globes will add a new category in 2026: Best Podcast.

A total of six nominees from the 25 most popular podcasts will be nominated for the category, according to Consequence. The programs “have made a significant impact over the past year, celebrating the creativity and influence of creators around the world.”

The nominees for Best Podcast and the rest of the 2026 Golden Globes have yet to be announced. Next year’s ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026.
