Neymar’s partner confirms they’re legally married—despite the footballer’s recent denial

Bruna Biancardi, the longtime partner of Brazilian football star Neymar, has revealed that the two are officially married—just months after Neymar himself dismissed wedding rumors.

Back in January 2025, the 33-year-old striker made a triumphant return to his home club Santos after a short but lucrative stint in the Saudi Pro League, which was cut short by injuries. By March, reports began circulating in Brazilian media that Neymar was planning to marry Biancardi, with whom he’s been in an on-and-off relationship for years. However, Neymar reacted to the speculation with surprise, joking in an interview, “Nothing is planned yet. Let me know the date so I can be ready!”

Now, however, Biancardi has set the record straight. During a recent Instagram Q&A with her 13.7 million followers, the model responded to a fan who asked when she plans to get married. Her reply? “We’re already married on paper.”

Though Neymar has previously referred to Biancardi as his “wife” in interviews, there had been no official confirmation of their legal union—until now.

The couple shares a daughter, born in 2023. Their relationship, however, hasn’t been without turbulence. While Biancardi was pregnant, Neymar publicly admitted to cheating and issued an apology, calling it “a mistake.”

Bruna ultimately forgave him, and recent reports suggest the couple is expecting their second child. Yet fresh allegations of infidelity have once again stirred controversy. According to Brazilian outlet Leo Dias, Neymar allegedly attended a party this year with 20 escort models—raising suspicions of further betrayal.
