New Byredo lip care balms — as captivating as their iconic fragrances

The craze for tinted lip balms continues, and now the cult perfume brand Byredo has joined in, launching Lip Care Balms — a line of multifunctional balms that promise not only deep hydration but also a vivid tint, reports Hypebae.

Considering the brand has already released satin and liquid lipsticks, this new product is a natural extension — with a focus on more everyday and “sensory” care.

The formula features natural vegan ingredients, including castor oil, shea butter, and cocoa butter. According to the brand, the balm provides up to 24 hours of hydration, eliminates dryness, and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. Special attention was paid to the scent: perfumer Jérôme Epinette (creator of Byredo’s iconic fragrances) developed a unique fragrance with notes of red fruits, powdery flowers, and vanilla cream — so your lips will not only look but also smell luxurious.

The balms come in five shades:

• Chromophobia — clear, perfect for minimalists;

• Celeste Nostalgia — coral-red;

• Chain Reaction — pH-reactive pink that changes according to your skin;

• Cloud Bursting — berry with a lilac undertone;

• Fantome Rapture — nude brown-beige.

You can apply a thin layer for a subtle tint or build up several layers for a richer color. Each balm costs $55.
