15:31 18 August, 2025From October 2, fans of pop art and iconic portraits can experience Andy Warhol like never before. Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo will host Andy Warhol: Serial Portraits – Selected Works from the Collection, an exhibition brought from Paris as part of the Fondation Louis Vuitton Hors les murs program, reports Hypebeast.
The show highlights how Warhol redefined portraiture: legendary self-portraits from 1977–1986 are displayed alongside lesser-known works, revealing his fascination with repetition, celebrity culture, and self-exploration.
Visitors will get a rare chance to see Warhol’s serial approach in action, where each piece seems to whisper: “A portrait is not just a face — it’s a story, repeated again and again.”
The exhibition is open free of charge until February 15, 2026.
