13:30 28 August, 2025Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of former and current U.S. President Donald Trump, has spent his summer focused not on romance, but on building his career, PEOPLE reports, citing sources close to the family.
Set to return this fall to New York University’s Stern School of Business, Barron has been actively involved in business meetings, developing technologies, and laying the groundwork for his own ventures. According to one insider, he is “pursuing his financial interests” and already engaged in projects with potential partners.
While he did spend time with family, Barron has not been seen publicly with his parents since his father’s January inauguration for a second presidential term.
Rumors of a girlfriend began circulating back in May, but no confirmation has ever surfaced. “It’s just not a priority for him right now,” a source told PEOPLE, adding they’ve heard nothing about any romances.
In January 2025, reports surfaced that Barron was planning to launch his own company, with media outlets speculating about his interest in real estate. Previously, in 2024, he and two partners registered Trump, Fulcher & Roxburgh Capital Inc. in Wyoming, but dissolved it after Donald Trump’s election victory — reportedly to avoid excessive media scrutiny. The venture is expected to relaunch this spring.
Sources describe Barron as “entrepreneurial, smart, and determined to succeed,” noting that his future business activities will inevitably be tied to “access to the Trump family and the White House.”
