Tiffany & Co. shines in Guillermo del Toro’s new film “Frankenstein”

Tiffany & Co. is making its mark in cinema once again: both archival and contemporary pieces from the luxury jeweler appear in Netflix’s upcoming “Frankenstein”, directed by Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro, reports WWD.

"Frankenstein continues Tiffany & Co.’s tradition of using jewelry not just as adornment, but as a storytelling device, bringing unforgettable characters and scenes to life," said Christopher Young, Vice President and Creative Director of Tiffany Patrimony.

The film stars Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz, and a scene showcased at the 2025 Venice Film Festival received a 14-minute standing ovation, sparking social media buzz.

For Tiffany & Co., this is the first time archival masterpieces are combined with modern jewelry, accessories, and silver objects specifically for film. Costume designer Kate Hawley noted that the pieces became “their own artistic contribution” to the creation of the characters and the film’s world.

On screen, viewers will see works by Julia Munson and Meta Overbeck under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany, as well as pieces from Tiffany High Jewelry in New York and creations made exclusively for the film.

The film will feature 27 Tiffany & Co. pieces, including necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, brooches, pendants, silver items, a hair comb, and a pocket watch. Mia Goth wears nearly all the jewelry, while Charles Dance wields a pocket watch as Leopold Frankenstein.

Tiffany & Co.’s longstanding connection to cinema is rooted in pop culture history, most notably through Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Frankenstein will have a limited theatrical release on October 17 and stream globally on Netflix starting November 7.
