As Oktoberfest approaches in Munich, German boutique BSTN has teamed up with adidas to release a limited-edition sneaker collection in two unique colorways, adding an unexpected Mediterranean twist, reports Hypebeast.

In recent years, the festival has gained popularity among Italian tourists, to the point where locals jokingly nickname the second weekend “Italian Weekend.” The adidas x BSTN collaboration draws inspiration from this cultural crossover, blending the festive spirit of Oktoberfest with vibrant Italian energy.

The sneakers feature the word “Salute” (Italian for “Cheers!”) and the collaboration’s emblem reads “Brindiamo” (“Let’s toast!”), celebrating family, friendship, and the joy of the festival.

At the same time, the collection pays homage to traditional Bavarian style: the two colorways—Dark Brown / Dark Green and Taupe / Sage Green—echo the classic look of lederhosen, while subtle heel embroidery draws inspiration from the Wiesn festival culture.
