Chopard’s jewelry masterpiece: Exclusive watch valued at nearly $1 million

Chopard is set to unveil a unique creation inspired by the world-famous ballet Swan Lake at the 2025 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève.

The centerpiece is an elegant swan adorned with 35.09 carats of white diamonds, crafted from white and yellow gold. The bird rests on a lightweight, durable, and practical titanium “water surface,” reflecting the harmony of strength and grace that defines the ballet.

Diamonds surrounding the swan create the effect of foamy water trailing behind it, while the eyes are set with onyx, the beak features spessartite and black diamonds. Designed in a sculptural style, the watch is paired with an satin strap decorated with white feathers and a feather-inspired clasp made of ethical white gold encrusted with diamonds.

Despite its focus on jewelry artistry, the watch functions as a timepiece: a hidden mother-of-pearl dial is revealed when the swan’s head is turned, and the wings open in three movable sections. Inside is the hand-wound Chopard Caliber 10.01-C with a 45-hour power reserve.

Creating this one-of-a-kind model required over 1,500 hours of master craftsmanship, refining one of the brand’s most delicate mechanical calibers.

The Swan Lake Secret Watch is unique and valued at $920,000. The winner of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève will be announced on November 13, 2025, at the “Oscars of Watchmaking” in Geneva.
