20:51 15 September, 2025COS unveiled its Fall 2025 collection at New York Fashion Week, offering a quiet yet powerful interpretation of the minimalist spirit that has long been the brand’s signature, reports WWD.

“We wanted to express our vision through new silhouettes: slightly more fitted, yet maintaining the ease that is so essential to COS,” said creative director Karin Gustafsson after the show.

The collection drew subtle inspiration from the 1950s, featuring open-necklines and a few feminine, tailored shapes. However, most looks remained true to the brand’s minimalist ethos, reimagining classics for the modern wardrobe.

Silk semi-sheer turtlenecks in mulberry shades with built-in long scarves were paired with cozy fur coats, while reversible wool coats showcased slightly cinched waists and sculptural lines.

“The interplay of soft and structured elements in luxurious materials became a key feature of the collection for both men and women,” Gustafsson added. Lightweight satin sets, draped and layered silk ensembles were combined with cocoon coats with high collars, sleek leather jackets, capes, and utilitarian tailoring.

Footwear emphasized practicality, featuring flat suede sneakers, loafers, and leather sock boots, highlighting functionality for the active life of today’s urban dwellers.
