14:43 23 September, 2025In a bold design collaboration, Jacob & Co. and Costa Design Studio have unveiled The Godfather Sculpture Table — an interior masterpiece inspired by the iconic Opera Godfather watch. Talented designer Pedro Costa brought the concept to life, transforming the spirit of the collectible timepiece into a functional work of art, reports Hypebeast.

Priced at $300,000, the table is a triumph of craftsmanship: over 350 custom-designed components are hand-assembled into seven substructures made of stainless steel, glass, leather, and aluminum. Weighing 170 kg and measuring 135 x 80 x 76 cm, it is a fusion of cinema, horology, and design.

At the heart of the table is a Swiss-German mechanical movement with a seven-day power reserve, paying homage to the original watch. Like the timepiece it draws inspiration from, the table features musical mechanisms that play Nino Rota’s legendary The Godfather theme. The design replicates watch details on a larger scale: violin- and piano-shaped elements, as well as a three-axis tourbillon.

The piece is limited to 20 units worldwide and represents the pinnacle of collaborative creativity: Jacob & Co.’s history meets Costa Design’s sculptural mastery, resulting in a functional art object for true connoisseurs.
