22:19 23 September, 2025Sarah Jessica Parker has been named Global Creative Director of Astrea London. As part of this collaboration, Parker is designing 12 exclusive pieces set with lab-grown diamonds, and next month the brand will open its flagship boutique at the Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah in Dubai, reports Vogue Arabia.
“When I first heard about lab-grown diamonds, I had the usual preconceptions,” Parker admits. “But now I see their beauty and quality—it’s truly a revelation.”
Astrea London’s stones rank in the top 1% of global diamond quality, and all are GIA or IGI certified. Founded by Nathalie Morrison in 2023, the brand offers a sustainable luxury alternative, maintaining brilliance, perfection, and prestige.
Beyond their beauty, Parker values social responsibility. Astrea London supports orphans and charitable initiatives. “Meeting a 13-year-old orphan and seeing how her life will change thanks to the brand’s support was incredible,” the actress shares.
Parker emphasizes that diamonds, whether mined or lab-grown, originate from the same carbon source. Lab-grown stones offer the same beauty without harming the environment or ethical standards.
Parker is completing her inaugural collection, featuring D-IF stones, which represent only 0.01% of diamonds worldwide. Each piece can be worn in multiple ways: necklaces, bracelets, and rings transform into versatile accessories suitable for both daytime wear and evening events.
“Jewelry should be not only beautiful but also transformable. It’s a piece you can pass down through generations,” says Parker.
For Astrea London, Dubai is the perfect market. Women here love bold colors, large stones, and unique shapes. Parker notes that clients in the region appreciate audacity and individuality: “Wearing an abaya or hijab is like a blank canvas for jewelry—an opportunity to add bright accents.”
Exclusive events, such as the Seven Carats afternoon tea, will allow clients to celebrate the innovative approach to diamond creation and immerse themselves in the world of luxury and science.
“We are proud that our diamonds are lab-grown. This doesn’t make them any less beautiful or desirable—they are the future of luxury,” emphasizes Nathalie Morrison.
Sarah Jessica Parker and Astrea London are redefining the jewelry industry: exclusivity, transformation, and conscious luxury become accessible without compromising ethics or the environment.
