To mark its 270th anniversary, Swiss haute horlogerie house Vacheron Constantin has unveiled the Les Cabinotiers “La Quête” collection—a series of one-of-a-kind timepieces that fuse technical mastery with artisanal artistry, reports Hypebeast.

Drawing inspiration from astronomy and the great journeys of antiquity, these watches combine complex mechanical innovations with decorative crafts including engraving, enameling, inlay work, and miniature sculpture. Each piece tells its own story—whether rooted in mythology, celestial science, or heroic legends—transforming the measurement of time into a true work of art.

Functions include a northern hemisphere star chart, perpetual calendar, equation of time, and lunar phases accurate to 1,000 years.
