“This is me sharing my love of tennis with my youngest daughter,” Serena captioned the post.
On their home court, featuring a blue-and-green surface, Williams poses in a black athletic jumpsuit while little Adira carefully tries to balance a ball on her racket, mirroring the movements of her famous mother—the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
One fan jokingly commented, “US Open champion 2040—already in the making!”
Tennis runs deep in the Williams family. Serena and Venus’s father, 83-year-old Richard Williams, famously “raised” his daughters to become sports superstars, a story later dramatized in the film King Richard, starring Will Smith.
