Khloé Kardashian Says She Has Slept With the Lights On for Years After Encountering a “Ghost”

Khloé Kardashian revealed that she hasn’t been able to sleep in the dark for years after a terrifying incident that she claims happened in her former home. As PEOPLE reports, in a new episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the 41-year-old star recalled an encounter with a “ghost,” which she still considers the scariest moment of her life.

Khloé explained that it happened when her daughter True was a baby sleeping in her crib. That night, Khloé woke up to the sound of footsteps in the narrow wooden hallway between the rooms. “I heard someone walking. I said, ‘True?’ — but on the monitor she was peacefully asleep. It was strange,” she said.

She tried to go back to sleep, but seconds later she felt someone touching her hair. “I felt a little hand. It went from the top of my head downward… I squeezed my eyes shut and kept repeating, ‘Let there be nothing here,’” Khloé recalled. “I opened my eyes — no one. I was terrified. Since that day, I have never slept with the lights off.”

Khloé’s colleague Alex, who was in the studio during the podcast recording, confirmed that “a lot happened” in that house.
In another incident that Khloé believes was caused by the same “spirit,” she once found her jacuzzi completely drained — with a Barbie doll lying at the bottom. “It looked like a crime scene,” she said.
