Sharon Osbourne has shared heartbreaking details about the death of her husband, legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. In a candid interview with Piers Morgan on Uncensored, the 73-year-old widow revealed that Ozzy’s last words to her were: “Kiss me. Hold me tighter.”

Ozzy passed away on July 22 at his home in Buckinghamshire from heart failure, just two weeks after his farewell concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park.

Sharon recalled that on that fateful morning, he woke up around 4 a.m., and within 20 minutes he was gone. Despite his declining health and previous battles with pneumonia and sepsis, Ozzy had gone to his home gym, where he typically exercised for up to an hour and a half.

Hearing a commotion, Sharon rushed downstairs and found her husband surrounded by paramedics. “He had a heart attack. I knew immediately he was gone. They kept trying… over and over. Then they airlifted him to the hospital, but I just kept saying, ‘He’s gone. Leave him,’” she recounted.

Earlier that morning, Ozzy had gotten up several times during the night, and around 4:30 a.m. he woke Sharon. “He said, ‘Kiss me. Hold me tighter,’” she remembered.

In the interview, Sharon also admitted that Ozzy knew his time was near. Doctors had warned him that performing for a final concert could be fatal, but he insisted on going on stage — and the show went on.

Reflecting on her future, Sharon tearfully stated she will never remarry: “That’s it. No more.”
