Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Install a “Spaceship” in the Backyard of Their $165 Million Beverly Hills Estate

Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez have added a truly out-of-this-world feature to their Beverly Hills estate.

According to the New York Post, a structure resembling a UFO has been installed on the grounds of the couple’s $165 million property. Preliminary reports suggest the futuristic object is actually a custom-designed sauna.

Photos published by the outlet show a sleek silver capsule styled to resemble a NASA rocket command module. The structure sits in the backyard of the sprawling 10-acre estate, near a cactus garden. The mansion, which previously belonged to media mogul David Geffen, has been undergoing extensive renovations since Bezos purchased it in 2020.

U.S. media report that the capsule was created by Timothy Oulton Studio. On the brand’s website, a similar structure appears under the name Apollo — a large-scale replica of the Apollo 11 command module that can be customized as a lounge, workspace, or private VIP pavilion. The price is not publicly listed, as each piece is made to order, though outlets have joked that the cost is likely just as “astronomical” as its design.

Neither Bezos nor Sánchez has publicly commented on the installation. However, journalists have linked the addition to Bezos’ long-standing fascination with space and his aerospace company, Blue Origin. In April 2025, Sánchez herself traveled to space, completing an 11-minute suborbital flight alongside Katy Perry and Gayle King as part of an all-female crew.
