Gisele Bündchen marries for the second time in a private ceremony

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is officially married again. The 45-year-old fashion icon has tied the knot with Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in a low-key, private ceremony held at their home in Surfside, Florida.

According to Daily Mail, which reviewed the couple’s marriage license, the document was issued on December 1, with the wedding taking place two days later, on December 3. Bündchen’s representatives have not yet commented publicly on the marriage.

This marks Bündchen’s second marriage, coming just over three years after her highly publicized divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady. The former couple finalized their divorce in October 2022, completing all legal proceedings on the same day.

The wedding follows another major milestone in the couple’s life: earlier this year, Bündchen and Valente welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. A source told Page Six that Valente is “thrilled” the couple officially tied the knot after becoming parents.

Bündchen also shares two children with Brady — 16-year-old son Benjamin and 13-year-old daughter Vivian.

While the ceremony was kept out of the public eye, sources cited by TMZ note that it was not entirely secret, as close family members were reportedly in attendance.

Bündchen and Valente first met in December 2021, when the model and her children began training at the Valente Brothers jiu-jitsu academy. At the time, she was still married to Brady, though rumors of marital strain were already circulating in the media.
