11:18 31 January, 2026Colombian superstar Shakira has officially secured a place in the Guinness World Records, setting the mark as the highest-grossing Latin artist of all time, Billboard reports.
Her global tour, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (“Women Don’t Cry Anymore”), which kicked off in February 2025 and continues into 2026, has already achieved staggering numbers:
3.3 million tickets sold
86 concerts performed
$421.6 million in gross revenue
This surpasses the previous record-holder, Luis Miguel, whose tour earned $409.5 million from 2.9 million tickets, and before him, Bad Bunny, whose World’s Hottest Tour grossed $314.1 million from 1.9 million tickets.
The official record was broken on December 11, 2025, when the tour’s earnings exceeded $410 million. And the tour isn’t over — Shakira still has nine shows scheduled for 2026.
The singer reflected on the milestone, calling it a special moment in her career.
“Breaking this record is an enormous milestone for me, especially considering how many incredible artists have historically toured Latin America and Spain. After 30 years of a career full of effort and challenges, experiencing this moment is just incredible. I am endlessly grateful to my fans for their loyalty and passion. None of this would be possible without them. Without a doubt, I have the best fans in the world.”
