13:21 14 February, 2026Since becoming First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump has consistently made headlines — not only for her public role, but also for her polished style and impeccably executed beauty looks.
Melania is rarely seen without her signature aesthetic: neutral, camera-ready makeup that enhances her luminous, bronzed complexion. A soft pink lip and dramatic smoky eyes have become her trademark — the exact look she’s worn to recent high-profile appearances, from visiting the New York Stock Exchange to attending a movie premiere in Washington, D.C.
So what’s behind the seemingly airbrushed finish?
The Go-To Products: Affordable Luxury
According to her longtime makeup artist, Nicole Bryl, the First Lady often favors relatively accessible products from brands like Urban Decay and Estée Lauder to create her signature look.

Bryl has worked with the Trump family since 2003, when Barron Trump was born, and has remained a trusted member of their inner circle ever since.
In an interview with Us Weekly following Donald Trump’s inauguration, Bryl revealed the exact lip products she used for the historic day.
For the daytime ceremony — where Melania wore a powder-blue cashmere dress by Ralph Lauren — Bryl created a soft, glossy pink lip. She lined the lips with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Cruz ($25), then layered Naked Ultra Nourishing Lipgloss in Lovechild on top.
While that gloss has since been discontinued, the brand now offers a similar alternative: Vice Lip Bond Glossy Longwear Liquid Lipstick ($28).
For the evening inauguration balls, the look was intensified. Bryl applied Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil in Rose ($30), topped with Urban Decay’s Vice Lipstick in Naked Cream ($21), adding depth and staying power for the formal events.
The Signature Smoky Eyes
Melania’s iconic smoky eye has remained largely unchanged over the years. For the inauguration, Bryl used Estée Lauder’s Pure Color Envy Defining Eye Shadow Wet/Dry in Brash Bronze (now discontinued), paired with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Corrupt ($23), still widely available at major retailers like Sephora.

The products were applied along both the upper and lower lash lines to create the dramatic yet refined finish that defines her look.
Beyond makeup, Melania also incorporates skincare from Bryl’s own line, including the $450 “Face Lifting Water.”
Bryl has previously emphasized that complexion is her top priority:
“Ensuring a soft, flawless glow and perfectly blended details is something I never tire of perfecting,” she said, adding that she also customizes individual false lashes to achieve a natural effect.
“I’m Against Botox”
Over the years, Melania’s beauty aesthetic has remained remarkably consistent — especially her smoky eyes. While some beauty experts have attempted to recreate her look using other celebrity-favorite brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, she has never confirmed using them herself.

One thing she has addressed directly, however, is cosmetic procedures.
In an interview with GQ, Melania stated: “Many people say I use all kinds of procedures on my face. That’s not true. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox and injections — I think they damage your face and your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully.”
The magazine also reported that she eats “seven pieces of fruit” daily and takes moisturizing her skin very seriously.
No dramatic procedures — just carefully chosen neutral shades, meticulous blending, and a focus on radiant skin. That, it seems, is the formula behind Melania Trump’s enduring beauty signature.
