Tomb Raider halts production after Sophie Turner injured

Production on the new Tomb Raider series has been halted after Sophie Turner suffered an injury.

The Game of Thrones actor’s injuries have been described as “minor”, and a spokesperson for Amazon MGM Studios said: "We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible”, Independent writes.

It is currently unclear whether Turner suffered the injury while filming.

Turner is playing archaeologist-adventurer Lara Croft in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s forthcoming live-action series, but discovered a back problem while training for the role last year.
