Bottega Veneta Expands Its Fragrance Universe with 10 New "Alta" Scents

Luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta is expanding its olfactory universe with the introduction of its premium "Alta" fragrance collection, featuring ten new Eau de Parfum scents.

This new line serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to the brand's debut collection, which was deeply rooted in Venetian heritage. This time, the perfumers set out to explore Italy's profound historical and cultural connection with the rest of the world. According to the brand, each of the ten fragrances captures a distinct mood or pocket of time—ranging from light, sparkling citrus accords to dark, deep, and resinous compositions.

The "Intrecciato Duo" Concept: A Fusion of Cultures

At the core of the collection lies a concept Bottega Veneta calls the "Intrecciato duo" (named after the house's signature intrecciato woven leather technique). This olfactory pairing pairs one key ingredient of strictly Italian origin with another sourced from across the globe.

The collection comprises ten poetically named scents:

• Always Now

• Montebello

• Balliamo

• Bare Morning

• Slow Rise

• Ricordami

• Moment After

• Night Sounds

• Velvet Steps

• Crepuscolo

Each composition masterfully weaves local Italian notes with exotic global treasures—ranging from Madagascar vetiver and North African neroli to Vietnamese benzoin and South Asian oud.

Flacons as an Ode to Venetian Architecture

The visual presentation of the collection deserves special recognition. The flacons are crafted from recycled glass, with bases featuring an embossed texture that perfectly mirrors Bottega Veneta's iconic woven leather pattern. Crowning the bottle is a wooden cap finished with a gold ring—an elegant homage to the classic elements of Venetian architecture.

With sustainability in mind, the brand has designed all bottles to be fully refillable. The fragrances will be available in two sizes: 50 ml and 100 ml. Alongside the fragrance line, the brand is also launching an exclusive series of travel accessories made from its signature woven leather to house the bottles.

The "Alta" collection is priced at $235 USD for the 50 ml format and $300 USD for the 100 ml format.
