10:20 29 June, 2026Kanye West is no stranger to sparing no expense when it comes to living the high life. According to photo agencies, the rapper splashed out nearly $400,000 on a grand masquerade ball in the very heart of France — the Château de Versailles.

The Grammy winner, who celebrated his 49th birthday on June 8, decided to keep the party going. Over the weekend, the musician and his wife, Bianca Censori, gathered a tight-knit group of about two dozen close friends at the historic palace, before moving the lavish festivities to the nearby ultra-luxury hotel, Airelles.

For the special occasion, West stuck to his signature style: an all-black outfit featuring a full-face head mask, a jacket, leather trousers, chunky boots, and leather gloves.

His 31-year-old wife, Bianca Censori, stole the spotlight as usual. She donned a cream-colored satin corset bodysuit paired with a matching structured hoop skirt. Bianca’s face was obscured by an extravagant feathered headpiece, and she capped off the daring look with satin wedge heels.

The hitmaker's guests fully embraced the strict dress code, though many opted for more radical animal masks over traditional Venetian ones.
This extravagant weekend was just the latest chapter in a month-long birthday marathon. Earlier this month, Bianca shared a touching tribute to her husband on social media, posting throwback photos and a video of Kanye singing alongside a friend. "Happy birthday @ye. I love you more than life," she captioned one of the posts, while calling West her "ride or die" in another.
The couple had kicked off his actual birthday earlier in June with a romantic weekend getaway to Amsterdam, where they were spotted dining at the upscale French restaurant, Ciel Bleu.
